The Cherubs Care Difference
Our Programs & What Families Can Expect
At Cherubs Nursery School, we provide safe, loving care you can trust and a place where your child can learn, make friends, and feel at home. Safety, cleanliness, and warm relationships are our starting point, and every part of our program is designed with that in mind.
We care for children from infancy through preschool, offering full-time and part-time schedules that fit your family. Infants as young as three months join calm, thoughtfully prepared classrooms that mirror the warmth and rhythm of home. From the very first day, our team focuses on gentle routines, secure attachment, and responsive care that support healthy brain development, early language, and social-emotional growth.
As your child grows into the toddler and preschool years, the environment shifts to match new skills and curiosity. Small groups, consistent teachers, and clear expectations help each child feel seen, respected, and ready to explore. No one is ever “just another kid in the room.”
At Cherubs, we blend the best of Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Te Whāriki philosophies. Classrooms invite independence, creativity, and connection through hands-on learning, open-ended materials, and plenty of time for play, problem-solving, and conversation. Children build confidence, kindness, and curiosity that carry into kindergarten and beyond.
Safety, Cleanliness & Quality You Can Trust
At Cherubs, safety and cleanliness are non-negotiable. Every routine, classroom, and decision reflects that commitment:
DCYF-licensed programs in all locations
CPR/First Aid–certified staff with completed background checks
Safe sleep practices for infants, following current DCYF and AAP guidance
Allergy-aware classrooms and clear illness and medication policies
Secure, monitored entrances and clear sign-in/out procedures
Regular cleaning routines and age-appropriate, well-maintained equipment
Strong communication and true family partnership sit at the heart of our work. Daily check-ins, messages, and open conversations keep you informed about your child’s day, care, and progress.
Cherubs proudly accepts Working Connections Child Care (WCCC) subsidy, making high-quality, premium early education more accessible for families who qualify.

At Cherubs Seattle, we’re proud to offer a Tagalog Immersion & Intergenerational Preschool program for children ages 2.5 to 6 years old.
This unique program brings language, culture, and community together. Children learn to speak and understand Tagalog while exploring Filipino traditions, stories, songs, and dances — all in a joyful, nurturing environment that celebrates identity and belonging.
We also embrace connection across generations by welcoming lolos and lolas (grandparents from our senior program) and ates and kuyas (Filipino youth volunteers) into our classrooms. Together, they share wisdom, laughter, and cultural pride, creating a learning experience that feels like family.
Every Friday is Filipino Food Friday, celebrated across all three Cherubs locations — Seattle, Kent, and Auburn — bringing everyone together through the flavors and warmth of Filipino cuisine.
This program is offered in partnership with the Filipino Community of Seattle, where heritage, learning, and generations come together to create a true community of care.
